Integrating Webshare proxies into your GeeLark profile is straightforward. Follow these steps to get Webshare working with GeeLark’s cloud phone solution:
Step 1: Sign Up for Webshare’s Free Plan
If you haven’t already signed up for Webshare, you’ll need to do so in order to access the proxy details required for the integration. Here’s how you can get started with Webshare’s free plan:
- Visit Webshare's Website: Go to the Webshare website and sign up for a new account.
- Sign up for the Free Plan: Webshare offers a free plan that provides access to 10 free datacenter proxies. These are shared proxies with some limitations, including 1GB of bandwidth per month. Additionally, you can configure these proxies in static or rotating modes depending on your needs.
- Access Proxy Details: Once your account is created and logged in, go to the dashboard. Here, you will find the proxy details necessary for integration: username, password, host, and port. Keep this information handy as you will need it for the next steps.
Step 2: Create a new profile in GeeLark
Now that you have your Webshare proxy credentials, it’s time to set up a new profile in GeeLark:
- Open GeeLark and Create a New Profile: Launch the GeeLark app and click on the New Profile button to start the profile creation process.
- Profile Name: Enter a name for your profile (e.g., Webshare Proxy).
- Group and Tags: You can assign the profile to a group or add relevant tags for better organization, though these are optional.
- Fill in Other Details: You can also customize other information for the profile as needed.

Step 3: Configure the proxy settings during profile creation
Now, you’ll need to enter the proxy information you got from your Webshare dashboard:
- Select Custom Proxy Option: In the Proxy Configuration section, choose the Custom option to set up a proxy manually.
- Select Proxy Type: Under Proxy Type, you can select HTTP as the connection type.
- Enter Webshare Proxy Details:
- Username: Enter the username provided in your Webshare dashboard.
- Password: Enter the password associated with the proxy.
- Host: Paste the host (e.g., IP address) of the Webshare proxy.
- Port: Enter the port number for the proxy (this will be provided in the Webshare dashboard).

Step 4: Verify proxy connection
Before you finish the setup, it's important to check whether the proxy connection is working correctly:
- Click on Check Proxy: In GeeLark, click on the Check Proxy button to verify that the connection to Webshare’s proxy is successful. If the connection is successful, you should see a confirmation message that the proxy is active and working.
