The cloud phone supports using the camera for QR-code scanning, live streaming and other tasks. There are three different ways to access the camera.

Scan a QR code from a photo

  1. Some apps—TikTok, for example—allow you to scan a QR code from a photo in the gallery. Simply upload the image containing the QR code to the cloud phone. On the right-hand toolbar, click Upload, then drag in or select the image to upload.

  1. TikTok example: Open TikTok and go to your profile. Tap the menu in the upper-right corner, then select Your QR code. A QR code appears on the screen. Tap the scan icon in the upper-right corner and choose the QR-code image from your gallery to scan it.

Use a physical phone's camera via screen mirroring

  1. The cloud phone can be mirrored to a real device so you can use the physical device’s camera to scan QR codes. On the cloud phone’s right-hand toolbar, click MoreMirror. A QR code will appear. Scan this code with your physical device (using its built-in QR scanner or a browser scanner) to start operating the cloud phone on the real device.

  1. TikTok example: Follow the previous steps to open the scanning interface on TikTok. When the app requests camera access, choose Allow (either “Allow while visiting this site” or “Allow this time”) so that the device’s camera can be used.
